Your surface

Estimated lease per year
Choose a surface type and size.
What a solar lease means for you
A solar operator rents your roof or land, builds a PV system on it and pays you a lease for it.
The operator builds and pays
Planning, construction, operation and insurance of the system are usually the operator's responsibility. You only provide the surface.
A long-term commitment
Terms of 20 to 30 years are common. The right of use is usually registered in the land register and remains in place if you sell.
Dismantling is agreed upfront
When the contract ends, the operator usually removes the system at its own cost. Look for a dismantling guarantee in the contract.
What operators look for in a roof

It is based on typical lease ranges in Germany: €2 to €4 per m² per year for suitable commercial roofs, €3,000 to €4,000 per ha per year for open land. The actual lease depends on location, suitability and contract.
There is no reliable general lease range for car parks and solar carports. Payment is agreed per project, so you list parking surfaces directly without an estimate.
